SE Teens Are at Their Chibiest!

SE Teen Chibi Drawing Class goes on full speed. For over a year, tweens and teens improved their drawing skills and finally they got to the point to compete with their teacher. They mostly say chibi drawing class is the only class they would never want to skip.

Every week Chibi Club hosts a mini drawing contest which became almost a tradition. We proudly present the winners of last week, Ariel (15) and Jasminn (11). Their awesome work can be visited at SE Branch Library!

Gale's Business & Company Resource Center

Gale's Business & Company Resource Center is a comprehensive database that meets the needs of students and casual investors.  It has thousands of entries for global companies and provides up-to-date company profiles, news, business information, S.W.O.T. analysis, and more.  You can also look up financial information on companies as well as investment reports from analysts.

You can access this database from your home through our Business database list by clicking here.  You will need your JPL library card number to use it.  Also, your Jacksonville Public Library card must be current and in good standing.

By using the "Company Search" you can look up companies by their name, ticker symbol, or even by the brands they produce.  For example, you can look up Apple Inc. by searching for "Apple," "AAPL" or by just typing in "Macbook" or "iPod."  You can also search companies by typing in their Standard Industrial Classification code (SIC code) or their North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS code).

The Business & Company Resource Center is a powerful tool in researching a company or industry  for academic or casual investing purposes.
